Course Descriptions
CPR for the Community and Workplace
This class is ideal for businesses, social organizations, churches, and anyone in the community who wants to learn what to do in an emergency. Not only will participants learn CPR, including "compression-only" CPR, they will also learn the warning signs of heart attack and stroke, and the importance of early recognition. When a person falls victim to sudden cardiac arrest, the early use of an AED can greatly increase the chances of surving. After this class, participants will have the knowlege and confidence to properly use an AED. Emergency procedures for choking victims are also covered. Includes book and 2-year certification card. $35/person.
CPR Professional
This class is intended for all healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, medical assistants medical office employees, and professional rescuers. Adult, child, and infant CPR is covered, as well as AED training, barrier devices, and bag-valve-mask use. Includes book and 2-year certification card. $55/person
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Refresher
ACLS recertification is offered to experienced healthcare providers who already possess a current ACLS card.
First Aid
This class will give you the knowledge to deal with both minor and life-threatening emergencies- from small cuts to severe bleeding. You will also learn how to care for broken bones, burns, and other injuries. Medical emergencies such as asthma, seizures, and diabetic emergencies will also be discussed. Includes book and 3-year certification card. $45/person (CPR-First Aid Bundle $70/Person)
